Come 2010

Dreading 2010. Suppose to do work but as you can see, the wifey has been blogging about her trip. Not looking forward to the new year really. More work. Higher expectations. When work is no longer fun, it's time to change. Will perserve for one more year. Wish could see the future and how this plays out. Hopefully, it's better than today. It's the wifey's turn to be lost.

Delhi Dey

Personally we felt that Delhi was forgettable. Nevertheless, we did it. Delhi is a taste of what to expect if you travel to other states in India. Hence we gave Jaipur, Rajasthan and others a miss. Things are cheap. However, we are not avid shoppers. One advice stood out for us, to drive in India, you need 3 things: a good horn, good brake and good luck. Delhi is in the midst of preparations for the Commonwealth Games 2010. Very slow but surely the Indians are capable of pulling it off. Would we come back? Nope, not even for Taj Mahal.

Caught on camera

The wifey with her favourite hobby.

Lucky Man?!

The hubby was told a few times during the trip that he's a lucky man to be married to me by the Kashmiri people and even Singaporeans whom we met. Is he truly lucky? Poor guy.

Gulmarg

The highlight of the trip - Gulmarg.
We ski-ed. The wifey sucked at it as compared to the hubby who is the more professional one.
She hurt her butt a lot in the process. Good butt exercise. ;)

We sleighed. Ouch!

We threw snow balls. Revenge time!

We gondola-ed. We survived the sudden stops!

The only place we did not argue and time was not an issue. Plus, we're posers. Perfect. We customized our sunglasses, wore our boots and bought Olympus tough (it did not fail us) especially for this trip. Wished we had more days to holiday.
